Alexis Ingram is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA). She received her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Spanish from Calvin College and her Master of Education in school counseling from Liberty University. Alexis is also a school counselor in a WCPSS elementary school, working with all grade levels. Alexis enjoys working with children, adolescents, and young adults. Alexis’ counseling style is strengths-based, person-centered, and solution-focused. She also utilizes cognitive behavioral approaches and play therapy techniques. Alexis is passionate about giving all children and adolescents hope and vision for the future. She also desires to provide support and education to families.
Alexis has provided counseling services to children and adolescents with anxiety, depression, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and children who have experienced trauma. She has also helped children navigate peer and family conflict, low self-esteem, trauma, grief, and emotional Regulation.
When Alexis is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, baby boy, and golden retriever. She loves baking, painting, traveling, and working out.
