Employing an integrated therapeutic approach, Jamie’s modalities used in treatment may include, expressive therapies (play therapy techniques, art, and sand), Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and mindfulness-based interventions. Jamie has experience working with family problems, difficult transitions (such as loss, grief, separation, and emerging adulthood), adverse childhood experiences (such as trauma, abuse, and neglect), attachment and bonding issues, suicidality, self-injurious behavior, poor self-esteem, identity issues, depression, anxiety, and substance use.
