Kathryn graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a masters degree in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling. She is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) and a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). Kathryn completed a dual track specialization in developmental and psychiatric disabilities. Kathryn’s experience in mental health includes working as a Community Support Worker, assisting children and families in their homes to address behavioral issues, by developing positive coping skills and strengthening interpersonal relationships. She also assisted children with developing fine/gross motor skills, safety awareness, communication skills, and other activities of daily living. Kathryn’s experiences also include the Autism Society of North Carolina, as an Autism Support Professional, Employment Relations Specialist, and Employment Services Coordinator. Kathryn’s love and joy for working with children and families has her seeking additional training to become a Registered Play Therapist.
