Stefanie grew up in Germany and moved to the US to pursue her career. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Auburn University at Montgomery in Alabama and moved to North Carolina to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she graduated with her Master of Science in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling in 2019.
Stefanie believes no two people are alike, and therefore everyone deserves treatment that is tailored to their individual circumstances and needs. After having had the opportunity to work with many different individuals in a variety of settings, her experience has shaped her approach to be person-centered and individualized. She enjoys working with adolescents and adults from various backgrounds, regardless of their gender, sexuality, or beliefs. She strives to provide you with a non-judgmental and supportive environment, to allow you to grow and take steps towards reaching your goals.
Stefanie has had the opportunity to work with adolescents and adults in intensive inpatient care, outpatient services, group settings, as well as individual therapy. She has experience working with various concerns, including depression, anxiety, life transitioning, self-confidence, stress management and substance use.
Stefanie enjoys using a combination of modalities in her work, to tailor it to your specific needs and help you identify your personal strengths and values, improve relationships, and work toward your goals.
