Sydney Rosenberg is a clinical mental health counseling associate who has been practicing as a therapist since 2021. Sydney graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in clinical mental health counseling and concentration in Expressive Arts Therapy. She is currently working toward clinical hours to obtain her Registered Expressive Arts Therapy certification. Her experience has been working with children, adolescents, and adults in outpatient and community based mental health settings. Sydney also has experience facilitating group therapy and expressive arts therapy groups with diverse populations. In her clinical practice she supports individuals with neurodivergence, anxiety, depression, trauma and adjustment to life transitions and stressors. Her approach is grounded in the belief that each person has the ability to discover their strengths through using creative therapy approaches and person-centered therapy. Sydney’s passions lie within using expressive therapies in counseling as a means for self-expression, exploration, collaboration and a creative avenue for individuals to reach their therapeutic potential. In Sydney’s free time she enjoys traveling, attending community events, learning new things, socializing with friends and spending time working on creative projects.
